February 3rd, 2010: Day #26- Workday

February 3rd. Day 26. Friday. Even though it’s Friday, this is not the last day of the week for us.

The build team members were occupied today with wielding the frame. Alex and Ben is specific were the ones who did the welding. The rest of them were either working on the hanging mechanism, or drawing the Fisher-Price motor on Inventor. Jeff, working without his Mini-Giers, ran around robotics and helped with EVERYTHING.

Public Relations was equally busy today, but with more paperwork and less hammer-and-screwdriver. Deepa worked on the mug shots again. She also, since we have done some big spending recently, she drew up the budget and input the receipts. Sumathi and Jenny also worked on the various awards of the competition. They are the ones who do this simply because the rest of us don’t have the good ability to write. Sheila worked with Alec on drafting the pit. Alec did the drafting and Sheila did the “commanding.” She also worked on figuring the cost for the all of the materials.
David, like every day, worked on the website. He is testing different methods for putting up the pictures.

We are all pumped for tomorrow, because we love coming in on Saturdays! It’s the day that we have the most fun out of the week.
