Janurary 11th, 2010: Day #3- Workday

First, as this was the meeting after the Kickoff Day, we started with the most pressing matter of the Activity Fair. (That was the night of this meeting.) Public Relations started out with making a poster for the 8th graders showing them how much fun we have! Then, Ashwyn kicked the poster idea in favor of finding funding from the local and distant companies. Examples would include ACE Hardware, Five Guys, and Microsoft. Anything that would give us any amount of money. In the mean time, Build team was hard at work analyzing the virtual field and deciding on the most efficient strategy that would maximize our win average. However, part of the build team was split in order to build a 1:1 Scale model of the Goal. At around 5ish, we all dropped what we were doing, and we moved to set up for the Activity Fair. Once we did that, we got the robot working; tested the turret and everything. Then…tragedy struck, and the drive board simply stopped working. Even without the robot working, we managed to attract around 30 incoming freshmen.
