February 11th, 2010: Day #34- Workday

February 11, 2010. Day 34.

Public Relations worked on a few awards today. Mostly, the awards were the Chairman’s Essay and the Woodie Flowers Award Criteria. What’s recently occurred to them is they have one week to do. Sounds like the season is coming to an end. David, taking a short deviation from the website, tried to make a Safety quiz. So far, the only question that works well is “What animal doesn’t swim: Whale, Fish, Cow, or Squid?” He’s working on getting some Robotics questions for it.

Sean weaver worked with Zach Block toady, and they worked on getting the chains for the transmissions back working. Sean also worked on the electronics board, which would be tracing the battery onto it. Sean Boeck and Aaron worked on mounting the recoil compensator for the telescoping arm. So far, the arm is working really well, and we’re just waiting to watch it in action. Jeff, like always, worked on EVERYTHING. Everything would be the ball manipulator, the kicker, the drive train, and planning what he needs to get done in the last week. He’s amazingly non-stressed for the day of the season we’re in.

Programming worked on the state machines and limit switches. I’m not incredibly sure what they are, but they’re supposed to be the programming for the buttons. Programming is a very strange language.
